Overview
Take advantage of a unique opportunity to learn to sail during your summer vacation on Krk. Summer sailing courses are held on the sailing boats, mostly on Salona 45 Nati & Elan 350 Euphoria. The sailing instructor will introduce you to the sailboat, the basics of navigation, meteorology, and the wind rose. You will learn the basics of sailing, sail in a given course, and practice turns in and out of the wind. You will practice tying maritime knots and master the language of sailing :)
The course takes place for two days in the morning or afternoon, and if you are interested, it is possible to take an extra day at an additional cost. The route itself is determined depending on the wind. So, you could sail in the Bay of Punat, or perhaps in the direction of Stara Baška or the uninhabited island of Plavnik.
You will surely have the opportunity for a short refreshment in the sea on one of the hidden beaches accessible only from the sea. The minimum age for independent participation in sailing is 12 years, and children from 8 years of age can also participate in the course accompanied by their parents. The summer sailing course on Krk is an excellent opportunity to learn something new and enjoy an active vacation!
