Explore the Island Route - Discover Rab, Goli, Grgur & Hidden Coves

We depart from Punat at 9:00 AM. Our first stop is Grgur Island (approx. 1.5-hour sail), where we stay for about an hour. Once a women’s political prison, Grgur is now known for its fallow deer, which you’ll likely meet – and feed!

We then continue to Goli Otok (30 minutes), the former political prison (1949–1988).
✔ Guided tour of the abandoned prison (approx. 1 hour)

Goli Otok leaves a lasting impression – a place that’s hard to forget.

Next, we sail to Rab Island, known for its greenery and forests – the opposite of Goli Otok. After a 20-minute sail, we anchor at the famous sandy San Marino beach, where we spend about 1.5 hours swimming and relaxing.

On the way back to Krk, we pass Galun Islet, home to a large seagull colony. There’ll be a chance to feed the birds – a special experience for both kids and adults.

Stay on Grgur (short walk and possibility of swimming) from 10:30 - 11:30.
Arrival on Goli otok around 12:00.
Stay on Goli Otok for 2 hours (tour of the abandoned prison, lunch and swimming break).
Arrival at the sandy beach of San Marino around 14:30. A stop for swimming on the beach of San Marino for about an hour and a half.
At 16:00, return to Krk.
On the way back, a half-hour break for swimming on the beach Lisičnjak.
Return to Punat around 18:30.

Tutto molto bello e interessante come escursione. Personale cordiale in particolar modo il capitano. Abbiamo visto le due prigioni femminili e maschili, fatto il bagno in acque limpide e cristalline…ecco io avrei evitato Rab perché sinceramente con il bellissimo mare della Croazia, la spiaggia dove siamo stati ben due ore era super affollata e l’acqua identica a quella di Jesolo se non peggio.. avrei preferito trascorrere lì mezz’ora, mentre due ore nella Fox beach vicino la Golden Beach. Comunque esperienza fantastica, abbiamo visto i delfini e visto i gabbiani che in volo prendevano il cibo dalle nostre mani. Il pranzo che ci è stato fornito era molto buono. Una escursione sicuramente da fare ma ripeto, prevalenza a spiagge che meritano, quella di Rab decisamente no. Complimenti all’equipaggio!!!

We had a fantastic day on boat with Captain TV & his crew. All of them were friendly and helpfull. The visits to the two prison Islands (Grgur and Goli Otok) were very interesting - dark history you might say. We had a super lunchbreak with a well prepared meal - very tasty. We stopped for diving and swimming several times - all beautiful places. And all day long: The blue, blue sea. Its just amazing! And just to top it off: A dolphin paid us a visit on the way back. Thanks for a fantastic day!

War eine schöne Bootstour mit schönem Schiff und guter Crew. Der Strand in Rab ist nicht unbedingt besuchenswert. Viele Leute, sehr flaches Wasser.......... . .

Der ganztägige Bootsausflug nach Grgur, Goli Otok und zur Insel Rab an den Badestrand von San Marino war ein super Ausflug mit den Kindern und Freunden. Der Kapitän Tvrtko und seine Mannschaft haben alles gegeben damit der Ausflug zu einem Erlebnis wurde. Zuerst besuchten wir die Insel Grgur wo früher das Frauengefängnis war, im Anschluss fuhren wir weiter auf die Insel Goli Otok wo uns der Kapitän einige Sachen erklärte zur Vergangenheit und der Geschichte der Insel Goli Otok was sehr interessant war. Wir hatten dort einen Aufenthalt von 90 Minuten also genug Zeit um mit dem Bummelzug eine Runde über die Insel zu fahren und uns alles genau anzusehen. Während wir auf der Insel waren, bereitete die Schiffsmannschaft das vorher bestellte Essen vor. Was reichlich war und sehr gut schmeckte. Meine Frau hatte Fisch und ich das Fleischgericht und im Nachhinein bereue ich das ich nicht auch den Fisch genommen habe. Zu dem Essen gab es auch ein Getränk dazu. Während wir gegessen haben fuhr der Kapitän Richtung Insel Rab nach San Marino weiter. Dort angekommen hatten wir die Möglichkeit am riesigen feinen Sandstrand wie in der Karibik zu baden. Das Wasser war sehr warm und flach. Also ein Traum auch für kleine Kinder wie unseren Sohn 17 Monate der noch nicht schwimmen könnte. Nach gut 90 Minuten Aufenthalt sind wir wieder Richtung Punat auf der Insel Krk aufgebrochen und haben auf der Rückreise das Meer und die Sonne genossen. Kurz vor Punat machte der Kapitän noch einen Badestop an der Küste vor Mala Baska, dort durften sich die mutigen dann ins Meer stürzen. Alles im allen war es ein perfekter Tagesausflug mit dem Boot für die Kindern und unsere Freunde. Wir werden das sicherlich wiedermachen und mit dem Schiff Lahor und seinem Kapitän Tvrtko in See stechen. Wir können es nur empfehlen Sie werden es nicht bereuen! Viele Dank an nochmal an die Mannschaft der Lahor und Mare Tours.

Der Ausflug war wie angeboten mit leckerem Essen an Bord auf Goli Otok. Leider ist auf Goli Otok nur 1,5 Stunden Zeit - hier kann man nur einen sehr kleinen Teil sehen, was schade ist. Der Strand auf Rab ist ein Sandstrand, der sehr lange, sehr flach ins Meer geht. Der Stopp ist m.E. nicht notwendig, außer man hat Kleinkinder dabei. Sonst lieber länger auf Goli Otok oder 2 weitere Buchten. Denn der Badestopp in der Bucht mit 8 m tiefblauem Wasser und der Sprung von Bord war toll. Alles in allem eine empfehlenswerte Tour

wir würden den Ausflug auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Insel Goli und RAB hat uns am besten gefallen. Das Baden im offenem Meer auf dem Rückweg hat uns am besten gefallen. Besonders zu empfehlen für Familien mit Kindern. Wir haben im Anschluss noch ein Ausflug mit der Mares Tour gebucht. Von uns ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Der ganze Ausflug war ein Erlebnis für die gesamte Familie. Der Kapitän und seine Crew waren sehr freundlich und vor allem geduldig. Auf den beiden Gefängnisinseln lernt man viel aus der Geschichte des Landes und es ist genügend Zeit, sich selbst ein Bild zu verschaffen. Wer Lust hat und es das Wetter zulässt, kann auch noch baden gehen. Das Essen auf dem Schiff war wirklich prima - besser wie in manchem Restaurant! Danke an den Koch!! Wir sind sogar auf einen kleinen Damhirsch gestoßen und unsere Tochter konnte Möwen aus der Hand füttern. Leider haben wir keine Gänsegeier gesehen und auch keine Delfine, aber das ist ja bekanntlich große Glückssache. Alles in allem ein wunderschöner Tag mit vielen Erinnerungen und zum weiterempfehlen! Vielen Dank an Mare Tours und die Schiffsbesatzung!

È stata una bellissima esperienza. Un giorno in barca per visitare le varie isole, meravigliose le isole, spiegate benissimo, i ragazzi sanno tutte le lingue. Pranzato sulla barca con dell'ottimo pesce fresco (c'era la possibilità di scegliere anche la carne). Rientro con il botto! Ci siamo fermati in una caletta a tuffarci dalla barca. Spettacolo! Ne vale davvero la pena!

Bellissima escursione, si riesce a fare il bagno in posti incantevoli dove altrimenti sarebbe impossibile andare senza barca, durante la navigazione il panorama è meraviglioso. il capitano fornisce spiegazioni in tutte le lingue. Il pranzo (pesce alla griglia) ottimo e cotto alla perfezione. Peccato che le varie soste non possano essere un pò più lunghe ma è cosi che si riesce a vedere diverse cose. Escursione che consiglio, assolutamente adatta a tutti.

We bought our tickets personally in the officwe. The staff was helpful and everything went smoothly. The trip was fantastic, we met with a fallow deer, visited the prison island, saw dolphins!!! and I could jump from the top of the boat to the sea when we took a break in one of the small bays. There is only one remark: we had to wait almost one hour for the lunch (which was delicious), so there were not enough time to get around on the prison island. Otherwise I highly recommend this trip.
