Why choose CMAS Beginners diving course?
Overview
Take the CMAS beginner's diving course, where you will gain theoretical knowledge and master the diving techniques. By completing the course, you will be given a certificate confirming that you are trained to dive, if supervised, up to 18 m deep.
The course lasts 4-5 days and can be attended by four persons at the same time. The course includes 5 hours of theoretical knowledge and seven dives. After you acquire the theoretical knowledge, there will be one dive for practice in the shallow waters, five dives in the open sea and one apnea dive.
The diving course program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive learning experience covering various aspects of diving. Throughout the course, you will participate in different types of dives, each offering unique opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
1. Confined Water Dive: The course begins with a dive in confined water conducted in a calm, shallow area. This dive allows you to familiarize yourself with the equipment and practice essential diving skills under controlled conditions.
2. Open Water Dives: Following the confined water dive, you will embark on a series of five open water dives. These dives take place in the open sea, providing you with real-life scenarios to apply your learned skills. Under the guidance of your instructor, you will explore underwater ecosystems and encounter marine life while practicing navigation, buoyancy control, and communication.
3. Apnea Dive: As part of the course program, you will also have the opportunity to experience an apnea dive. Apnea diving, also known as freediving or breath-hold diving, involves descending underwater without using breathing apparatus. During this dive, you will learn breath-holding techniques and explore the sensation of underwater exploration without scuba gear.
The price includes theory and practice lessons, learning materials, an instructor, seven dives (1 dive for practice in the shallow waters, 5 dives in the open sea and 1 apnea dive), diving equipment, a logbook, and a certification fee.
Completing one dive in confined water, five open-water dives, and one apnea dive will give you valuable practical experience and build confidence in your diving abilities. Each type of dive offers unique challenges and rewards that contribute to your overall development as a diver.
Start your diving journey on the Island of Krk and enjoy exploring the stunning underwater world.
