The Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the most beautiful European national parks and natural phenomena in the world. Visiting Croatia and not visiting Plitvice Lakes would really be an oversight on your part, especially if you are staying on the island of Krk, and being just a few hours away from the National Park. The only reason, which could discourage you from visiting Plitvice Lakes, are traffic jams and heavy traffic, but that's why this excursion is the perfect solution! Driving by bus is partially replaced by a boat ride, which gives you the opportunity to enjoy a panoramic boat ride to Senj, thus shortening the road route for about 200 km. This way, two excursions are combined into one: the visit to the Plitvice Lakes National Park and a panoramic boat ride from Baška to Senj. 

The excursion starts in the morning, with a panoramic boat ride from Baška to Senj. The spectacular sight of the Velebit Mountain and the nearby islands that will mesmerize you with their might, as well as the blue sea are an excellent introduction to an unforgettable day that awaits you. Although the excursion continues with a bus ride from Senj on, this is not your last panoramic boat ride because there is another one in the national park, where new and entirely different fresh water beauty awaits to be explored during a ride with an electric boat.

The Plitvice Lakes will enchant you with their beauty, depicting all the abundance and power of water with as many as 16 connected lakes and 92 waterfalls. This national park got its title in 1949, and 30 years later it also entered the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the visit to the national park, while admiring its natural beauties, there are also trails with amenities at every turn and every step on the way. The visitor service includes a train ride that will take you to distant parts of the national park. Numerous restaurants at your disposal and many rest stops with beautiful view are simply longing to be captured in your photos. 

A full-day excursion to Plitvice Lakes by bus & boat is organized every week, starting at 6:45 a.m. from Baška, from where a boat takes you to Senj. After the boat ride, which lasts from 45 minutes to an hour, the next step is boarding a bus and continuing the journey to Plitvice. Optionally, according to the wishes of the group and the schedule, a lunch break can be organized before or after entering the park (not included in the price). After exploring the park with a guide for about 3.5 hours, the bus takes you back to Senj. While taking a ride back to Senj, a visit to one of the villages near Plitvice and a tasting of homemade brandy, honey, and other homemade products can be organized. Upon arrival to Senj, it is time to board the boat, which will take you back to Baška. While onboard, you will enjoy the panoramic ride, which will add to your day full of enjoyment. The return to the island of Krk is planned between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m.
In case of bad weather, the boat ride is replaced by a bus ride.
